Rather than a typical band, tepeyac usto is a work-in-progress, a sort of international music laboratory that has been operating for 23 years in Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela, and Argentina under different formats.

The band is more like the musical logbook of a life lived in the Latin American subcontinent, than a traditional group operating out of a single country.

 

"El método del ritmo" (The Rhythm Method) is a 6-song EP that was recorded in Mexico City in 2023 and was blacklisted from streaming platforms by an algorithmic mismatch. In response, the album was transformed into an artivism protest: Manumission.
