Residence in USSR (Un Studio Sobre Revolución)

During the residence in USSR, I created the Discernia Collection, a faux home video distribution company:

"Establishd in 1977 to gather a film collection that would be truly representative of our species, for 42 years the Discernia Collection  has introduced to a new generation of viewers film treasures that, despite their undeniable artistic merit, may have been lost if left to the whims of the market."

In the two weeks leading to the virtual screening of the fauxtograms, USSR's instagram account posed as the Discernia Collection to publish synopses, video reviews and trivia of the fauxtograms, in addition to film scoring masterclasses, testimonials of industry people describing the influence of some of the fake movies of the fauxtograms in their own work and film-industry related materials based entirely on the fauxtograms.
